Persuasion

My point that I am trying to get across is that why do the teachers at the High School have to be so mean to their new students. When I went to a new school, the teachers were always nice to me because they want you to fell like you fit in. Teachers should welcome new students with open arms and try to make them feel right at home with all the other students. If other kids in your class realize that you are being excluded from everything that they do, they should welcome you in by themselves. Teachers should be nice to their students so they get a better reputation and they are respected more.

Fitting in at High School

Fitting in at high school is not very hard for some people because they are popular or that they just know everyone at the school. For me it is not very hard because I know a lot of people and I am friendly so people like me as a friend. I believe that if you are trying to fit in at a high school that you should be the best kind of person that you can be to try to fit in. So be a nice person to everyone and you will fit in just fine. My response to this particular statement is that no I believe that it is not hard to fit in at high school because their is really no challenge to it at all.

My second example for this statement is that fitting in is not one of the things that you should be completely focused on. You should be focused on school work and sports if you play any. So those should be your main objectives and not you fitting in at school. You can make friends later in the school year. Your main focus is to do good in school and not focus on fitting in because you can end up trying to get attention and that desire can consume you and you will end up failing in school.

If you do end up getting consumed in trying to fit in, people will look at you like a wanna be because at that point you will just be trying way to hard. And if you don’t fit in when you are being the best person that you can be and you don’t make any friends then it’s their fault for not realizing that you are a good person. If they don’t want to be your friend, then you forget about them and you move on to another group.

My snowboard is my most valued object in the world because I have such a good time when I flying down the mountain and grinding on rails or soaring though the air . It the most fun thing besides water boarding and surfing. Xbox is my other valued object but it does not compare to my snowboard. Can’t wait till winter, see you on the mountain.

Most people enjoy snowboarding as a fun activity. I absolutely love snowboarding. My snowboard is a LTD peak, ( black and blue ). I will start with the front of my board because I snowboard regular not goofy foot. As look at the board, you almost get cut from the razor sharp edges. Then you take a dive into the deep blue ocean, and you have to swim all the way to my left foot binding. My binding color is like a rainy and stormy day. Then you get to the cool silver plates on the bindings. After the first binding there is a tall mountain in your path to the next binding. After you hike the mountain you will find another binding. Then after the binding you will be floating in a vast black space. That is the front side of the board.

When you flip it over you have blue, silver, and, black. The logo is LTD so it says that on the bottom. The sharp metal edges cut through the snow like a hot knife through butter. Then the deep blue sea color is cut in half by the cool silver intercepts the blue and black. The logo is an island in the middle of the ocean, you have to cross on the bridge of silver that crosses between the blue and the black. Then when you cross the black you are on the edge. That’s all of the details on my snowboard. I have the best time up at Mt. Snow in the winter, specially in the terrain park with all rails and jumps. Mt. Sow and Berkshiere East are to of the best place to go, all day on powder days. That’s when you go straight down the mountain if you are an experienced rider. My LTD Peak Snowboard is my most valued thing that you can put a price tag on.

My two things that I am writing about are almost tied together because the place that I go snowboarding is right next to Burlington, I go up at Burlington. this story is about my family vacation up to Vermont. We stayed in the Green Mountain Lodge. They had a really nice swimming pool inside the lodge and when you come in from a long day on the mountain it feels good to relax in the pool and hot tub. So I really enjoyed the relaxing part of the vacation. But everyday was so fun I mean what more could you want, you get to snowboard for 6 hours and then you get to chill in the pool and hot tub. Me and my brother snowboard and the rest of my family skies except my, he’s more of the stay warm kind of person. He just like to watch us ski and snowboard. My dad tried skiing once but he kept falling so he did not like it very much. He likes watching me snowboard except he always thinks that I am going to fall or something. That’s to really all I did on my vacation but it was so fun because I got to spend some quality time with my family. I really enjoyed that time with my family and on the mountain.
